Taking the Time to Read

There are few people who wouldn't benefit from spending a little more time each day reading a good book.  If you want to keep yourself at maximum creative capacity, you have to make sure you are taking in new ideas and thoughts.  If you aren't continually feeding your mind, you'll eventually find your creative reserves starting to run dry.  Continually producing output without taking any input is a good way to burn out. John Kennedy said we were going to go to the moon "Not because it is easy, but because it is hard."  The Apollo 11 mission was a huge success and really brought the nation, and to some extent, the whole world together around a scientific adventure. Choosing to do something because it is difficult is a great way to grow.
