Favorite Pen

By Mark Shead 2 Comments

For Christmas, my assistant bought me what has become my favorite pen.  It is a Pilot G2 pen with a metal barrel. It has just the right amount of weight and retains everything I like about the plastic G2 but with much better materials. I made one change to it, by swapping out the black ink with a blue cartridge from a normal plastic G2 pen.

That’s a great pen, to be sure. My favorite are the TUL Retractable Gel (gotta go with the Gel) pens by OfficeMax, but available at Amazon as well. Smooth writing – and replaceable in case I lose one. They are $6 for a pack of 4, and price decreases in bulk.

Im more of a fan of the full stainless steel Parker Jotter, but I will give this one a shot.
