Firefox Tip: Open in Tabs

March 26, 2007 · Print This Article

Did you know that a single two-second distraction can cost you 15 minutes of your day? When your concentration is interrupted, it takes up to 15 minutes to get your focus back. Our ambient sounds help reduce the amount of noise distractions in your workplace. Take advantage of the current SALE.

The open in tabs command is a shortcut to opening multiple sites simultaneously.  This is a good technique when you want to be able to quickly open multiple sites.  I use this for opening daily news sites as well as the statistics pages for several of my servers.

This video shows how it works.

Let me know what you think of the video and if you have any suggestions.  I’m still playing around with it and would appreciate any feedback.

    Nice tip, thanks!

I notice your face is in the absolute center of the video, its considered better to use the rule of thirds when doing a face shot. That means the eye line should be about 1 third from the top, it just looks more natural that way.

Cool tip. Are you going to set up your videos as vodcasts? Another thing I can subscribe to.. :-)
