I'm pretty sure the same thing would happen with an iPhone. Plus AT&T kicked me off for roaming too much.
I love my Blackberry and it is very helpful, but I think it is easy to invest more time in something than what it will help you save--particularly if you skip from device to device a lot.

My point is that we don’t always take into account how long it will take to setup a new piece of technology and learn how to use it. I've been a blackberry user for a long time and the new update iPhone2.0 that will come free to all existing users has a better interface and the e-mail portion is going to be set up to work with enterprise client software using activesync protocols allowing for direct push e-mail which is fully synchronous with your work network for all information. Whereas blackberry goes through several servers and is not a direct medium. I am looking forward to my iPhone, but explore the difference, I always enjoyed the blackberry but I just became a macbook owner and am starting to see the differences in the OS X platform inherit in all of their systems (including iPhone)
Take care, hope you found this useful.

I would suggest looking into the iPhone. JEN is right in saying that BlackBerry can be useful for people on short field trips.

I use my phone’s (SE K750i) small screen to read, delete and forward mails.
