		<description>I think you&#039;ve misunderstood the PowerBook&#039;s crossover cable auto-sensing.  With it, you don&#039;t *need* a crossover cable -- if you connect your PowerBook to any peer device (i.e., not a router), it will automatically swap it&#039;s signals, effectively negating the need for a crossover cable (which physically swaps the wires).  If you connect with a crossover cable, it doesn&#039;t do this.  So yeah, it &quot;handles&quot; both kinds, but not in the way you think.

That&#039;s one less item for your bag, i guess.
