TV was only one stream, but I brought everything (Twitter, Blogs, Radio, TV) together on one desktop through the magic of the Interweb.
Gotta love tech. If you are interested in how it looked, here's my desktop from our election night: http://blog.bradgrier.com/2008/10/15/live-election-night-coverage-online-canadian-election/

Heh…just wait until election night. I do have a TV, because there are a few things I cannot do without. But what I do at the start of the week is select those few things I will want to watch and try to stick to that regimen. Most of the time it works surprisingly well and we enjoy what we watch together. Occasionally a TV does lend itself to escapism or curiosity in a current event, but we try to remind each other of that. For me, too much TV always leaves me feeling bad about myself.

I think not watching or limiting TV is a plus. Be that as it may, while I have not sworn off of TV, I did swear off of all the political junk. I made my mind up long ago and there is really nothing new or startling. Just a lot of blather. When the debate I did not watch was over I checked a few websites for comments then went to bed.

Oh, wow.
