I like the idea of de cluttering and is a great excuse when relocating or changing rooms. A home office can be absolute haven for creativity and output or just an annoying room with clutter. I prefer the haven .

Wonderful tips as we are in the process of moving….expect to close on our new house in about two weeks and are currently in an extended stay hotel. Computers are all with us, but rest of stuff is in corporate relocation storage. Thanks for sharing!!!! Ola

Some great ideas. I especially agree with the temporary initial set up. It normally won’t be long before you think of something you want to change.

I have to admit, however, that when I saw “water detector” alarm and house, my mind saw my kids setting it off on purpose with a small glass of water.
