@Clint - I usually put them in the glove compartment when I get them and then eventually transfer them to a folder in my file cabinet. Now I've started scanning them in to my paperless setup.

@Mandar - I had most of papers in the glove compartment. A few required making a telephone call any having them faxed to me (my fax number just sends me an email with an attached PDF).

The glove compartment isn't necessarily the most secure place to keep records, but it keeps them near the place I'm going to need them and also makes it easy to put new papers where I will look for them.

If someone steals the car, I'll lose my records. Of course if that happens I probably don't need to know the exact mileage of the last oil change.

Pretty impressive. I got to learn to value the paperwork like that.

Question:
I understand that some people like yourself are good with paperwork, but how come you had all the oil change records with you, when you were essentially traveling ?

As an automotive organization enthusiast (I have all my maintenance scheduled in Google Calendar) where do you store your service records at in your car?
